installation & activation
- manufacturers install the iSPY X microchip permanently into the product and attach the ID Tag with the iSPY X logo and ID number during manufacturing stage. It can also be installed into used products by a trained iSPY X retailer.
- manufacturers/ retailers will notify the ispy system with product specifications and photos (if they like) related to each product installed with the iSPY X microchip
- once that product is purchased, the athlete must complete the account activation (which is free) with contact and purchase information by using their ID tag number via the account activation card received at purchase location or iSPY X website. The ID tag can be placed on a key chain for immediate account or iSPY X representative access
- after the iSPY X microchip is activated, the product can be identified in any situation and can help deter thieves from stealing it. Manufacturers & retailers can stay close to their clientele and products, as well as, the entire sport community
